.
Sad to see. I was always a fan of Rinker back in the day. Higher horsepower boats for their size and fairly good craftsmanship. RIP. :|

It is never a good thing for the consumer when there are less brands out there. Sad to see them going.

I was never a fan of Polaris. Maybe Ski Doo should have bought them. Maybe they would have made it them. 😂😂
Im sure someone will grab them. My wife had a 206 I think it was. Yep even she had a v8 in it 😂😂

Personally to me that smells like Polaris was planning on shutting those lines down and is using COVID as an excuse. Not surprised, Pontoons are taking over the inland lakes across America. I bet it's 3-1 pontoon versus runabouts on the Chain.

Agree 100%. Ask any boat dealer they will tell you that pontoons is what keeps them in business. That way they can offer other brands. Dealer I work with sells Harris toons along with Cobalt, Scout, and Nautique. They sell 3 harris toons for every one of the other 3.

I can remember when Rinker was built to the same standards as Formula and Cobalt. Talk about not having access to parts!!!

Definitely agree it seems as though this was probably already in the works, but hate seeing any brands die.

I'll be curious to see how Covid effects some of these other smaller companies attempting a comeback like Powerquest and Black Thunder. Baja, Donzi, and Fountain have a pretty solid financial backing now with Iconic/Big Thunder so I would guess they will be alright but who knows?

There are lots of Larsons and Rinkers on our lake. I've never really checked them out up close though.

Larson has always been a staple family boat brand in Minnesota. Sad to see them go.

I bet they wished they waited a year to end production now.
