To be clear, the change is that we store and display a smaller version of huge Image files. If you upload a 5MB image, you still have to wait while all 5MB of it uploads before our server shrinks it down for display and storage. I know some devices let you pick a size/resolution when you upload, which may be a nice feature if you’re uploading very large images directly from your phone or other device.

I didn't have this issue until about March. Not blaming it on Corona but hey that's when everyone was sucking up the internet and I thought it was that.

BBP, that's helpful. I resized a bunch of pics today, and can look at what might have changed. I'll keep digging...
