2002 240 port side glass.

My wife’s cousin has a 2002 240 and they had an unfortunate accident today on the Mississippi River. They were beached at a restaurant and a large boat went by creating a large wake that caused a boat near theirs pull its anchor. With the current and large waves it slammed into their port side widows shattering both pieces of glass and the trim between the glass. It slightly bent the trim on the top too. Does anyone know where it might be possible to find these pieces if our local dealer has trouble?

Oh wow S8. That’s a tough break. Great Lakes skipper has some 240 windshields that surface occasionally.

Check with Green Bay Propellers also. There is a company in Florida that makes custom glass. That sucks

I one on a 98 Malibu break. I had to order it from Taylor Made. There may be a small sticker inside your glass. It will have the number you will need to order from Taylor Made. They may not be able to help you without the number. I was lucky enough my sticker was intact.

I am renewing this post for a friend of mine. He finished the year out in is 240 without the port side glass. Now that it is winter he has started the search with no luck. The only source that will even make a glass for him is Ocean Dynamics and they want $6000 for both pieces of glass. Taylor Made has brushed him off. The dealer can’t find anything either. If you guys/gals could just keep an eye out for for the port side glass on a 240 it would be appreciated! He is trying to figure out if there are other models/years that used the same glass to open his search a little. I will add another post once he figures out if other models used the same glass. Thanks!

Take the frame off and bring it to a glass company.
