Btw, that gxi 420HP is awesome to have in a 220.

Had the GI version in my 262 and now the 425 horse MAGHO in our 263.

I go fishing on Michigan but that's in my brother's boat.

I had the 8.1gi last year in a 220 also. This gxi is a beast.love it. Ran 57 today full tank and 4 in the boat and rough water. She just idles a bit low and lumpy. In two weeks we are going to run green bay up to Washington island and around the thumb into Michigan. That's the plan anyways.

BB, have you done this before ? I have always thought about doing that, but that's some big water. You'll have to let me know how it goes.

We run our boat in Presque Isle bay and cross over to Canada frequently. The deep vee of the Cobalt works so well on Lake Erie.

Last year ran from Sturgeon Bay over to lake Michigan but it was very rough so turned around after a few big waves. Ran from Sturgeon Bay up to a few cities north. Sister Bay and Egg harbor. Great run as the bay was nice. I'll let you know when we run it.It's my next vacation. I'm post pictures unlike liquid
My buddy I'm going with lives there and is my sales manager and has a 26ft Scarab.

My 13 year old is getting better at wakeboarding, taking my oldest son out tomorrow with his family and inlaws.
My oldest can do water sports all day long.

Well thanks to all on the forum who reside in neighboring states for the warm welcome. Although, I think we need more Lake Erie boater's on this site. Such a gem in the summer. Let's see some more Lake Erie posts from anyone out there!
