Ok I got called out again. I knew that was coming. I'm pretty much wide open on hull choices. I trailer so dark hull won't scare me.

Anesslet wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 9:02 am Hey thanks for the quick replies. My wife and kids have given some input as well. My boat will be on a lift so not just sitting in the water. Wondering if I did the red stripe if it would be better to do navy on top and white bottom or vice versa? I haven’t seen that new lighter blue color in person yet so that one makes me a little nervous.
The suspense is killing me, what was the final color pick?

Also what are the other options ordered?

Still struggling on the color. It’s down to navy side with red stripe and white hull, or light grey side with black stripe and white hull. As far as options, here’s where I’m at:
Mercruiser 350
Bimini
Bow and cockpit cover
Premium Sound System
Flagpole with flag
Sof-Trac mat on swim platform
Transom tilt switch
Floor covering, Sea Grass
Stainless steel foot tread
Battery Switch
Battery Maintainer/charger - 110v

Can’t decide on the fender clips. Don’t think we’d use them much but wondering if I should still get them? Anything else I’m missing?

Colors took us a while also.

Great list of options.

I also teetered on fender clips, finally decided not to because of the shorter freeboard than an R series.

One consideration would be filler cushions, our girls like to have a large sun pad when anchored in the cove.

Fairly certain I’m going with the Mercruiser 350 and am really struggling on the exterior color combo. I’ve attached some of my top choices. I was leaning towards navy with the red stripe but wondering if that’s stealing Cris Crafts look? I also love the navy bottom with light blue side but have been told to get a white bottom for wear and tear. Was at the dealer this week and took the photo of the light gray with a black stripe (I’d probably get a navy stripe) and actually really liked that too. Any comments/suggestions/photos would be appreciated. Planning to order the boat from Erickson Marine in Hastings, MN in the next week or so. Thanks everyone!
My CS is the Navy hull with red boot stripe like your photo. So patriotic and classic. I love it. The other options are nice too!

I agree. Bfc are the best addition to the bow with kids.
Also I would skip the stainless foot piece. I like Having the soft carpet under my feet. I think it looks cool but that is where it ends. Just my 20 cents!

I think I decided on navy side with a red stripe. Any comments on what color the oval Cobalt should be on the side? Looks like most of them stay with navy. I was considering a red or gray oval but not sure if that would look as as good?

Nice choice Anesslet. The prior examples with that navy and chrome emblem really make it stand out. That's my vote anyway. 8-)

I think red would go nice with your red stripe and make the emblem stand out

Sorry guys, one more question. I was set on getting the Tahoe grey interior, but I really like the Geneva color too, which is the dark tan seats. I was told by the dealer that would definitely be hotter in the sun. What are your thoughts? Do any of you have that color? I feel like it would look really good with the navy with red stripe that I’m getting. Is that color a good one? Think it’ll go out of style ever? Thanks again.

Yes any dark color will get hotter then a white. I would only get white myself. Personally I don't like tan at all.
