Gear Lube Pump

I purchased this gear lube pump the other day. I won't know how it works until last year as I changed mine the day before buying it. This pump has a swivel adapter that lets you twist on the tube to the outdrive. You don't have to twist the whole pump to screw on and off. Anyone have any experience with it? Thanks

I bought one last year but broke my leg before getting to use it.
It's still on the boat.
