Fender storage compartments/fenders

I have 8” Taylor Made fenders in my fender storage compartments- they seem a little tight/difficult to get out.

They are the thru-rope style vs the eye style and I use the cobalt fender clips.

The bags seem to collect small amounts of water. The dealer was supposed to install some sort of drain, but all they did was slice a slit into the fabric w/ a knife.

I see PolyForm has a 7.5” diameter fender w/ eyes on each end- thought about trying them, but was hoping someone sorted this out already!

Do the eye style fenders work w/ the cobalt fender clips?

What size fenders work best in the A series fender storage compartments?

Anyone solve the fender compartment water issue?

On my R7 there is a attachment with a hose that drains into the bilge. My compartment easily fits my 7.5 fenders.
