Cobalt Branded Accessories

Post by CBO »

Looking at placing an order for the Cobalt branded fender lines, mooring ropes, and fender covers. Possible a few other things as well. Does anyone have first hand experience with the quality of any of the items I listed? The fender covers say they are made of nylon, curious if they are soft like the ones made by polyform. Any input is much appreciated.

We use the Cobalt docking lines and they are top quality and have not faded.

My boat has the fender whips and clips, pretty sure they are original from 2014 - have held up well.

Looking at purchasing the cobalt 8" fender covers. Does anyone know what polyform fenders these fit?

Almost everything I've bought from the Cobalt site has been good quality. My favorite tee shirt is quality, but the material is a little thin. Works on the water though. I've bought the 15' docking lines, still like brand new. I bought the sea horse hangers, haven't used them that much because of winds.

I've purchased the fender covers and they hold up well. If I get some time today I'll post a few picks for ya.

What brand and model fenders are you using the covers on?

Here are some pics... I purchased them in 2016 and everything has held up well. I do have to add a little air to the fenders every spring, but I think that's pretty normal.

I can’t remember the brand of the fenders I have but I know they fit on a standard 8” fender.

Curious if your Cobalt fender covers help prevent gelcoat scuffing?

I haven't seen any. I don't know if that's from the covers or from having the ceramic coating applied to our boats.

My fenders are uncovered and did leave behind scuffs 2 seasons ago and was curious if the covers could helped. If you boat Smithville Lake perhaps I'll see you this season. My job took me out of the country all last summer and we didn't get on the lake.

Also, I've never had any experience with ceramic coating. Do you feel it's worth applying. I need to do some work on my gelcoat this spring and would consider applying.
