I’m looking at purchasing a 14’ wss 222, I’ve gotten mixed info as to if this is a boat you can surf behind. If not is there a kit to purchase & install or is it more of a wakeboarding boat. Please advise…

You should not surf behind any boat that doesn’t have a forward drive (prop under the boat), or an inboard, like most ski boats. For safety. I don’t believe there was ever a 222 forward drive (surf model) so it would be more of a wakeboard boat.
Even with an inboard ski/wakeboard boat, you won’t get the same wave as a boat designed to surf behind.
