Not sure if it relates or if the lifters are the same, but GM has had tons of lifter issues over the last several years in their 5.3 and 6.2 engines.

Welcome!! We have a 2006 232 with the 8.1 engine. I've never driven one with the smaller engine, but it should be fine, but if you can find a big block that would be optimum though. We got the boat on the new trailer this weekend and took the boat out for a bit. The lake was packed. I still have to dial in the position of the boat. I want to find a scale so I can figure out the tongue weight as the truck squats quite a bit more than with the old trailer. But, the old trailer m...

On our Venture trailer, when they carpeted the bunks, Venture used staples to fill a knot hole, causing scratches.

I believe my new Loadmaster for our 232 is 26.5 feet, plus maybe 2.5-3 feet for the swim platform.
