I did most of the work myself only having some specialized assistance like the granite install. I did this last year which is why the boat restoration was slow getting done.

Yep I remember yours! My place is small so any expansion of the kitchen would have taken space from the living area. We had looked into it but the cost didn’t make sense.

I would have loved to have done more of it myself. We did the ship lap, painting, electrical, and plumbing. I had someone do the cabinets, flooring, and counters. But being 4hrs away and the lack of space for storing stuff it just didn’t make sense to do some of the bigger items myself.

Great Job! I will have some condo remodeling in my future and I'm torn between looking forward to it and dreading it. I love the satisfaction on seeing what you accomplished, but the work is getting harder on the body as I get older.

Just do what the sheriff did and have his bilge princess do it. Lol😂😂

It’s fun making a place yours! I wish I could say I was done but my place needs an entire remodel. We did the deck last winter, kitchen this winter. I still have 2 bathrooms to do, windows, HVAC, and whatever else the boss comes up with. Good thing is everything is in good shape just dated. So we are just tackling it one project at a time.

I was literally just looking at this one today. I sell real estate for a living, and took a few minutes today to plan for future TRL dreams. I had to check in on how expensive they were...

Totally understand about the body. I have 2 bathrooms to do in this house and a closet conversion thingy and then I'm done. I really enjoy this kind of thing but I just don't have too much left in the tank.

Yeah and the reason that house is 700k is because of the lake frontage and the 2 stall private dock. Homes on TRL typically run about 150-175/ft

A private dock and more lake frontage that is typical is exactly the reason for this price. But holy smokes, they are essentially asking $300k for those features.

Tgrace....didnt realize you did alot of that on your own. Nice work. Next thing you know she'll want all new furniture....you know, stuff is supposed to match and whatnot :)

I haven't tried it yet, but I bet she'd make a decent cabinet princess too!
