Nice looking trailer! Lol. Did you ever figure out what your tongue weight is? Loadmaster builds their trailers to be a little heavy on the tongue so they pull better. I know mine is heavy but I’ve never cared enough to weigh it.kas232ca wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 1:20 pm We got the boat on the new trailer this weekend and took the boat out for a bit. I still have to dial in the position of the boat. I want to find a scale so I can figure out the tongue weight as the truck squats quite a bit more than with the old trailer. But, the old trailer might not have been correct either. I am guessing the boat + trailer + 1/2 tank of fuel + gear = 7125 lbs. This truck can pull 8900 lbs so optimally, I would want about 750 lbs on the hitch I think.
Yes, just got back from the lake and the main project was to figure out the tongue weight. It was 115+ degrees, so it was too hot to boat anyway. I used the scale at the nursery that also sells decorative rock so they have a truck scale.Snowman8 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2023 8:53 amNice looking trailer! Lol.
